Cyclevox does the Premier Calendar

Lately Cyclevox have been up to all sorts of great projects. We love doing something a bit new and different and, in keeping with the times, British Cycling have appointed us to film and produce a new and groundbreaking project, in which we have, and will continue to, create exciting viewing for web and social media of the Premier Calendar races.

We’re two rounds down in the Premier Calendar, and with five more to go, we’re really getting into the swing of it all. We kicked off the week before last in Maldon, Essex and the Dengie Marshes, where riders hit both the roads and some fairly rough off-road tracks. The French rider Alexandre Blain took first place, with last year’s winner Zak Dempster finishing a little unexpectedly outside the top ten. Our motor cameraman Kevin captured some exciting and artistic shots from Jason’s motorbike allowing Alex, our editor, and Anthony to put together some really interesting edits for British Cycling and the Premier Calendar YouTube channel.

Easter weekend took us to Scotland for Tour Doon Hame. Luckily, not being as cold as last year, it was a more pleasant ride for most in 2012. We got yet more fantastic footage and insightful interviews from our camera journalist Phil S, helped by Peter getting him around the course speedily. Meanwhile Craig followed all the action closely as motor cameraman on the back of the Phil J’s bike.

Endura Racing cleared up, with riders the overall top three after Monday’s third and final stage, with Jonny McEvoy in first place and all in all we had a great Easter weekend (despite her in the hotel – below).
